Ma Root (1955) is a former coach of Accra Hearts of Oak FC[1][2]. The German coach is famous for trying to import many European players into the Hearts of Oak team. The experiment failed with Andrew Grant being the only remaining European import at the club. As a consequence of the failure he was fired and has since moved back to his native Germany.
Currently working in the youth teams of 1860 Munich[3]
